Condition

Overall in very good condition. This is a delicate small scale work that displays luminous and vivid colors in the inticate enamelwork of the face. The pewter presents with minor surface scratches, a few scattered areas of discoloration and light surface dirt concentrated to the recessed areas of the design. The proper right lower portion of the clock adjacent to the enamel inset with a minor discoloration, a few very small edge dents and polish residue. The enamelwork has been examined under black light and appears original and undisturbed. The glass face of the clock cover is likely not original. The movement appears to be original and the key is integrated into the clock at the reverse. Movement is not guaranteed to run at the time of cataloging and was not tested for accuracy of time and may need service at the buyerÂ’s discretion. A strong exanpke of the model with strong presence and wonderful contrast in coloration across the enamelwork.
