Catalogue Note

This copy is uniformly bound with Rudder's A New History of Gloucestershire (lot 98) and comes from Sherborne House, the seat of the Dutton family, which is illustrated between pages 644 and 645. According to Upcott "the greater part of the impression of this work was destroyed by fire".
