Catalogue Note

This copy is the first issue of the second edition with volume 1 dated 1598 and the title mentioning "the famous victorie atchieved at the citie of Cadiz". The account of the Earl of Essex's voyage to Cadiz, was ordered to be suppressed in 1599, and is therefore sometimes misssing, as in this copy.
