Catalogue Note
The four folding maps together make up a complete map of "The County of Northampton, as surveyed and planned by the late Mr Thomas Jeffreys... engraved by William Faden 1779". Upcott makes no mention of the map and notes that the plate facing p.141 in volume 1 is only sometimes present (as it is in this copy).
