Condition
Overall in very good condition. With some small scattered air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. The exterior surfaces with some scattered light surfaces scratches, gentle surface wear and rubbing. The vase interior with concentric surface scratches and light soiling, and with some applied glass threads inherent in the making and quite common with vases of this scale. When viewed in person the vase has tremendous visual presence owing to its monumental scale, dynamic rhythmic decoration and strong coloration. The exterior is beautifully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminosity and a range of brilliant hues which further accentuates the dynamic spriraling decoration. The background coloration and rich iridiscence transitions from a rich deep cobalt to striking violets, aqua and celadon green. A stunning abstract work with strong visual prescence. -----
