the hinged top opening to two removable trays, the frieze fitted with a dummy drawer above a drawer.  The underside with chalked inscription Mrs. Wynne.

Condition

Good restored condition; the top with minor old hairline age crack running over lines of construction at the inner border of triangles with some infilling and inpainting; small triangular veneer to back left corner; front edge with a later thin veneer strip to the edge; minor lifting to veneer of central flower head; some minor white scuffs to ebonized edge of top; some minor scuffs and scratches to the legs.
