Condition
The canvas has a stiff lining. The surface is in generally good condition aside for apparent craquelure and many small gaps in the paint . Under UV; inpainting is visible through the thick uneven varnish, most notably on the horses, in the mountains and foliage above the horses, and along the ground below the figure and horses.
