Condition

With scattered age and construction cracks, abrasions, scratches and scuffs; not extensive. Refinished, wood with some surface restorations. Some small losses to veneer: not extensive, the largest is an L-shaped loss to one lower corner of fall front, approx. 1in. by 1in. Fall front lacking side hinges, and now with later chains with one loose, the other broken. Leather inlay probably original, with scuffs and scratches and clear varnish. Ormolu and brass with oxidation, some dents, surface dirt and rubbing; not extensive.
