  • coconut shell, lacquer, jadeite, jade, coral, porcelain, aquamarine, fossiliferous limestone
comprising: a Japanese coconut-shell, gold and black lacquer snuff bottle; an emerald-green jadeite snuff bottle; a miniature white jade 'meiping' snuff bottle; a miniature coral 'dragon' snuff bottle; a moulded green-glazed porcelain 'peapod' snuff bottle; a crackled blue-glazed porcelain 'double-gourd' snuff bottle; an aquamarine snuff bottle; a fossiliferous limestone snuff bottle; and a greyish-green jade snuff bottle, drilled through twice for a suspension cord

Condition

The overall condition of the group is very good. The coral bottle has natrual flaws including one at the outer lip. The coconut bottle has a crack in the neck running down from the lip and a tiny nibble to the outer footrim. There are also some small surface scratches and a slight opening at the top joint. The jade baluster bottle has some nibbles to the inner lip and one to the outer lip. It also has some natural flaws throughout. The turquoise bottle has slight rubbing to the glaze at the corners and lower section. The aquamarine one some pitting along the natural flaws. The pod bottle also has some surface wear especially to the raised areas. The jadeite bottle has some very minor surface scratches.
