the bell-shaped hollow base supporting two drip pans connected by a columnar stem, the top set with a metal pricket, decorated in rich gilt on the exterior with lotus blossoms borne on feathery leafy foliate scrolls against a pale turquoise enamel ground
Condition
Characteristic pitting with slight crazing and minor flaking to the enamels. Gilding is largely intact with small areas of wear on the larger drip pan and pricket and a scratch to the rim of the upper drip pan. There are minor nicks along the edges.
