each globular body with three circular medallions enclosing a confronting dragon and phoenix amidst fiery clouds contesting a 'flaming pearl', the neck reserved with a pair of 'magpie and prunus' rectangular panels, all against a vibrant yellow ground painted with colorful double-gourds, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, wood stands (4)
Provenance
House of Props, California, acquired between 1940 and 1960.
Condition
One has restoration to one of the dragon and phoenix panels and adjacent yellow ground - it has been well done. The mark is in underglaze-blue.
