with nine four-clawed dragons painted in underglaze blue, some emerging and leaping from a band of roiling, foaming waves encircling the base, others striding above, all amid fiery clouds and a central 'flaming pearl', the base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, Japanese wood box (3)

A few scattered iron spots and minor surface scratches to the glaze, otherwise in good condition.
