the first a toad and lotus group representing the meaning of 'May you continuously gain wealth'; the second a gourd, water chestnut and balsam pear group, forming a rebus for 'Wish to have many sons'; the third a lychee group, meaning 'May there be good fortune and great profit'; and the fourth a pomelo and lingzhi group, representing the wish 'May you have everything you need', wood stands (8)

Condition

Toad and Lotus: there are small chips to the tips of the lotus petals. Gourd: chip to the tip of a leaf and the tip of the stem Lychee: chips to the side of one leaf and the tip of another. Lingzhi: missing a section of stem and and a leaf. The surface of all four carvings with expected wear and small nicks from age and handling.
