the first a cylindrical vase, the sides decorated with falling leaves and set with one loop handle, the base cast with maker's mark Nakao Munesada sei zo; the second a lobed basin, supported on three feet in the shape of prunus branches extending up the sides, the base cast with studio mark Seiryusai chu (2)
