the flattened vase carved in high relief to the exterior with plum blossom, pine and bamboo branches with birds, the reverse with an inscription in seal script and two seals, the neck flanked by lion-head handles suspending loose rings, the flat cover surmounted by two lions, the stone of a pale lavender with apple-green inclusions, wood stand (3)

Condition

There is a section of a branch missing on the lower half of the vase, on the side not pictured in the catalogue. There are a few very fine cracks in the stone, the longest approx. 2 1/2 in., (6.3 cm).
