of circular form, the sides carved with an interlocking ruyi head design, set on a spinach-green jade stand with four ruyi feet, the cover a white jade plaque carved with a phoenix among flowering prunus inset within a spinach-green jade ring (2)

Gift of the Carolyn C. Rowland Trust (accession no. 2013.32a-b).

Condition

The cover with a tine flake chip to the rim of the white jade plaque and a series of small nicks along the inner edge of the green jade ring. The vessel is in overall good condition with expected wear and scattered nicks along the rims and edges.
