Condition

Drawing from Life The upper edge is uneven. There is a pin hole in the lower right edge and two repaired pin holes in the upper right edge. The sheet has discoloured slightly and there are a couple of minor spots of foxing in places. The sheet is hinged to the mount along the top edge. Held in a simple black frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame. Portrait of a Lady There is a repaired fold running through the centre of the composition. Faint creasing is visible in all four corners and along the bottom edge. There is a small patch of tape on the reverse of the lower left corner and the paper is slightly skinned on the reverse of the two upper corners. The sheet has discoloured slightly and there is a light covering of surface dirt. Held in a simple black frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.
