Condition

Restaurant interior scene There are pinholes in each corner and in the centre of the top and bottom edges. There is a stain along the centre of the left edge and other scattered stains. Spots of foxing are visible in places. There are surface scratches in the upper right and left corners. The sheet has discoloured in line with age and there is a layer of surface dirt. The sheet is attached to the mount in two places along the top edge. Held in a black wooden frame behind plexiglass. Unexamined out of frame. Outdoor scene There are pinholes in each corner and in the centre of the top edge. There are stains along the left edge and other scattered stains. There are creases across each corner. There are surface scratches throughout the composition, notably in the centre of the sky. There are flecks of paint loss to the pavement in the foreground and further scattered flecks. There are spots of foxing in places. The sheet has discoloured in line with age and there is a layer of surface dirt. The sheet is attached to the mount in two places along the top edge. Held in a black wooden frame behind plexiglass. Unexamined out of frame.
