Condition
Original canvas which is slightly buckling in places. There are two canvas patches visible on the reverse. There are frame abrasions along all four edges. There is a pinhole in the lower right. There is an area of craquelure in the upper right and an area of paint loss and paint shrinkage in the centre which correspond to the canvas patches on the reverse. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals an area of retouching in the upper right which corresponds to the aforementioned canvas patch. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
