Condition
The canvas has been lined. There are frame abrasions with associated paint loss along all four edges. There is a layer of surface dirt. There are flecks of paint loss in places, notably in the lower left and upper left corners as well as in the area above the mountain in the centre. Inspection under UV light reveals an area of retouching to the centre of the right edge, to the aforementioned area around the mountain and alongside the top edge. There is further minor scattered retouching in places. Held in a painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
