Overall measurements: 342cm across the top, 357cm across the bottom, 443cm along left side, 445cm along right side
Dense generally even 1-2mm pile overall with some areas of wear down to knotbars especially top left corner of main field and in other scattered areas, as visible in image - see for example central area in and around central square motif. There is some wear to green ground of borders especially top left corner and centre right hand border. Some colour run visible within border, in top left and bottom right corners and along the lower edge - as visible in photograph. Both ends with trimmed cotton fringes and overlocked and both sides with re-overcast sidecords. A very decorative piece with balanced proportions and of good size.
