Condition
Overall measurements: 152cm across the top, 152cm across the bottom, 197cm along left side, 192cm along right side
Overall in very good condition. The lower end bows inwardly slightly (concave). Lustrous wool generally even 3mm pile overall. There is small repiled area in the boteh second row down, second from the left within the point. A tiny little repair in the centre of the boteh second row down first on the left within central red palmette motif, although this is barely visible. There is a repaired vertical split in the centre of the lower border from old fold approx. 7.5cm. Original red and blue banded flatweave with fringing at both ends. With herringbone ribbon attached across width at both ends on reverse, the top edge with small hoops attached for hanging. Some restoration to sidecords. Flexible handle and a charming and distinctive rug in extremely good condition for age.
