Condition

Overall measurements: 192cm across the top, 197cm across the bottom, 262cm along left side, 259cm along right side Thick pile, in very good condition, with attractive range of colours including several greens, approximately 3-5mm depth, glossy wool, flexible handle; reweave approx 20cm up from lower border, possibly old fold wear line, approximately 70 cm in length and variable depth 0.5 to 5cm, another in left hand border approx. 12 by 2.5 cm and one in the lower right hand outer guard stripes approx 7 by 5cm; some very minor scatter spot repiling; ends blanket stitched, side cords with some reovercasting; overall a large and handsome rug in sound, ready to use condition EMBARGO ON IMPORTATION OF PERSIAN/IRANIAN WORKS OF ART TO THE USA.
