Overall measurements: 163cm across the top, 162cm across the bottom, 232cm along left side, 227cm along right side The ground composed of five narrow strips, densely embroidered , scattered small holes to ground, now lined and with some darning. scattered minor losses to embroidery, later lining.

Catalogue Note

The all over 'lattice' leaf design centred with 'four and one' flowers within the field is a charming quality to this Suzani, what is very interesting is that the 'four and one' design continues into the border which is design more often associated with older Persian carpets.
