Condition

Overall measurements: 148cm across the top, 152cm across the bottom, 209cm along left side, 200cm along right side (Irregularly shaped) Pile generally very full, 4-5mm, reducing to 1mm - knotheads in upper border, browns oxidised and mainly repiled with quite a 'flat' dark brown (rug would probably look better if this was removed) ; several repiled fold lines and a repaired split (possibly a fold line tear) across 2/3 of field and left hand border on central horizontal axis (75cm in length); repiling in motifs in upper border, poorly colour matched - would benefit from being redone; ends with trimmed flatweave and warp fringes, side cords in good condition; rug needs washing and the pile relaying as pile a little 'rucked' in places; very attractive gentle colouring
