Condition
Overall measurements: 118cm across the top, 126cm across the bottom, 135cm along left side, 131cm along right side (rug is slightly splayed along lower edge).
Pile variable, approximately 1mm in borders and lower down to knot heads through most of field, with areas of wear to foundation along fold lines: primarily three on left hand side and one in lower right (three also with additional strengthening stitches); minute areas of spot oxidisation and associated wear to foundation; losses to end guard stripes at both ends, with nick, light stain and two small patches in lower edge (please see image online), sides original with overlocking to stabilise. Unusual yellow ground and overall design with good range of colours including a very pretty green.
