Condition
Overall measurements; 96cm across the top, 94cm across the bottom, 137cm from the right, 138cm from the left.
The pile generally 3mm overall with browns oxidised to knotbars with some spot foundation visible in browns in lower half of field in particular. Central motif fourth row from bottom with re-weave approx. 9 by 8cm and another 7 rows up on right hand edge of third motif approx. 5 by 1cm. Very small repair in outer banding of guard-stripe on left hand side approx. 3 by 1cm and two small patches in inner guard irregularly shaped about 1.5 by 1cm. and 3 by 2cm. Sidecords mostly original, blue soumakh finishes extant, macrame ends mainly original with some minor repairs, tip of lower right hand corner repaired, small nick in lower left hand corner. 2cm. tension split in top row of motifs. Repairs well executed and barely noticeable from face of rug, lovely clear fresh colour and nice proportion. Very charming and lovely small size.
