Condition
Overall measurements; 137cm across the top, 146cm across the bottom, 206cm from the left, 210cm from the right.
The colour in the printed catalogue is a little thin by comparison to the actual piece, further images can be requested via the department. Pile generally good to very good 3-5mm. There is even oxidization the the brown outlines overall. There is a small re-weave in the lower left corner of the border approx 4 by 3.5cm. There is some minor scattered re-piling in the green border on the right hand side. A re-pilied fold line approx 20cm long across the top of the medallion. Outermost banded guardstripes removed at each end. Warps fringed and re-woven section of zig-zag guard stripes at lower end. Upper border partially re-woven on right hand side. A handsome rug in need of a clean.

Catalogue Note
The Sewan design variant used here has an unusually elaborate arrowhead shaped medallion and border design related to that seen on the Karachopt, Lot 5 in this sale.
