serial number J2530-90, seven-piece laminated through-neck with ebony fingerboard, pearlised plaque with black printed lettering "SIGNATURE J. BRUCE 90 002-90" on fingerboard near body joint, mahogany double cutaway contoured body, headstock with veneer and "W" pearl inlay, four black tuners, pearlised truss rod cover with black printed lettering "THUMB BASS JACK BRUCE SIGNATURE 1990", two MEC active pickups, three rotary controls, one mini selector switch, metal bridge and metal tailpiece, Jack Bruce signature (incorporating a peace sign in the "B") pearlised inlay on lower bass bout, two black back plates, in metal flight case with black plush lining

Condition

Very good used condition. Play wear particularly notable on the lower bass body bout. Metal parts have corroded in areas. Both back plates applied with strips of black electrical tape.

Catalogue Note

NUMBER 2 FROM A LIMITED EDITION OF 90, and an example of one the first collaborations between Jack Bruce and Warwick. This instrument was played at the Guitar Legends show in Seville in October 1991, when Bruce played with Phil Manzenera, and on tour in Israel. This guitar is also featured in a photo session with Jack and Eamonn McCabe.
