Condition

This impressively large photograph, on double-weight Agfa paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally excellent condition. It is printed with a wide upper margin. The negative sprocket holes are slightly visible at the lower right edge of the image. In raking light, a 1¼-inch crease and a tiny impression are visible in the lower left quadrant. The margin edges are intermittently rubbed and creased, with occasional chipping. The margin corners are bumped, and the top paper-ply is folded back slightly along the edge close to the lower left corner. On the reverse are the following notations in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'RF-787-47' and 'RF.A.014.3' It is believed that only 5 other prints of this image have previously been offered at auction.
