Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally very good to excellent condition. The image is printed full frame with slim margins. There are a few scattered, soft crescent-shaped handling creases and very faint vertical creases radiating from the lower left corner that appear to break the emulsion visible under raking light. There is a very thin, dark band along the left side of the margin edge. The reverse of the print is clean. The following is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse: 'RF.A. 015.4' and '1503-I.' It is believed that only 3, possibly 4, other prints of this image have previously been offered at auction.
