Condition
Oil on paper laid down on canvas. The surface is in overall very good condition. There are a few spots of minor losses: a pinpoint loss to the rocks at lower right; 2 small spots along the extreme lower edge; and a few small spots along the right upper edge, likely related to frame abrasion. There are a few minor, discolored spots of retouching visible to the naked eye along the left and lower edges, with a few additional scattered retouches. Under UV light, there are small scattered retouches. There is a small groups of dots and dashes in the center of the right bird's wing. There are dots and dashes scattered in the left bird's head and few in the body, with a larger area in the leftmost part of his wing. In overall good condition.
