Condition
Oil on canvas, unlined. The picture surface is an overall very good condition. The paint surface has been flattened slightly at the extreme edges. Under UV light there is a small line of inpainting in the background center. There are additional dots and dashes of inpainting in the snow below the shepherd, as well as around and above the sheep at center right. There is some light fluorescing around the lower edge and the lower left and right edges which may or may not be from the artist. In overall excellent condition and ready to hang.
