Catalogue Note

With a Panerai special edition certificate, guarantee certificate, screwdriver and presentation box.

In 2007, Panerai released this model, PAM00276, as the firm's first lateral tourbillon model. The balance rotates 360 degrees on a lateral, rather than horizontal axis. This feature lends a three-dimensional effect for the viewer, who will also be impressed by the rotational speed. The tourbillon completes a full revolution every 30 seconds, moving at twice the speed of a standard one-minute tourbillon. This is indicated by a rotating blue dot on the subsidiary seconds dial.

The present lot is number 31 from a limited series of 100 pieces.
