The portfolio, comprising 25 etchings with aquatint printed in colours, with text by Louis Aragon, this copy lacking the additional suite of signed and numbered etchings, 1975-76, signed in blue ink by the artist and author on the justification, numbered 6, from the total edition of 225, loose (as issued), on BFK Rives wove paper, published by Maeght, Paris, contained in the original beige cloth-covered portfolio box
Condition
With full margins, in good condition. Very minor imperfections in the individual sheets are as follows: plate 6 with two small areas of minor surface soiling in the lower left margin corner, text page 89 with two small spots of minor surface soiling at lower right sheet corner, the paper covers with areas of scattered foxing (towards the spine).
