Etching and drypoint, 1641, a fine impression of the second (final) state, New Hollstein's third state (of five), with the Baillie re-work, printing with touches of burr on the contour of the face, the sleeve, lower left corner and elsewhere, on oriental paper
Condition
With narrow to small margins, in good condition, apart from a pale brown stain at centre of left sheet edge, a soft diagonal crease from his left shoulder into the background (only visible verso), the extreme lower left tip of margin corner reinforced and a tiny tear at upper left sheet edge (both away from the image), unframed.
