Drypoint, 1905, printing with plate tone, from la suite des Saltimbanques, from the edition of 250 (there were also 27 or 29 impressions on Japan paper), on Van Gelder Zonen wove paper, printed by Louis Fort, published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris, 1913

Condition

With full margins (a deckle at upper and right sheet edge and a partial deckle at left and below), in generally good condition apart from pale paper discoloration and slight inconsistencies in the paper tone, pale mottled foxing (one in the bottom of the image, mainly visible verso) and some minute fox marks (mainly verso), a very small area of surface soiling at left edge of sheet, unframed.
