Two lithographs printed in colours, 1952-62, each signed in pencil, the first numbered 15/50, the second inscribed prova d'artista (an artist's proof aside from the edition of 25 with a grey border; there was also an edition of 25 with a blue border), the first on BFK Rives wove paper, published by Le Cent Bibliophiles de France et d'Amerique, Paris, the second on Arches wove paper, published by Curt Valentin Gallery, New York; together with ERNST BARLACH, Wandernde Puppenspieler, woodcut, 1922, from Der Findling, signed in pencil, from the edition of 80, on laid Japan paper, each framed
Condition
Le cavalier noir - With full margins, generally in good condition, the brown slightly attenuated, pale light-staining and pale, uneven mount-staining in the margins and verso, several soft handling creases at right are visible verso, minor hinge remains at sheet corners verso, framed.
Jongleur, bordure bleue - With full margins, pale uneven light- and mount-staining, four fox marks towards the outside of the image or in the margin, scattered tiny foxing verso, framed.
Wandernde Puppenspieler - With full margins, in good condition, framed.
