Condition
This impressive lifetime print, with its rich tonality and dark negative edges at the top, left, and bottom of the image, is on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface. It is in generally very good condition. The margin edges are somewhat rubbed, and the corners are bumped. There is rippling at the upper and lower margin edges of the print. This does not affect the image. In raking light, the following are visible: a transparent, eraser-sized transparent deposit in the upper left quadrant; and 5 small sharp handling creases that appear to break the emulsion, in the lower portion of the image..
On the reverse of the print, the photographer's signature is in cursive script, and the title and date are in block letters in ink at the lower edge. The reverse is lightly soiled and has tiny, pinpoint rust-colored deposits of indeterminate nature scattered overall. There are two strips of rice paper tape remains at the top edge on the reverse.
