Condition

The gravures, the heavy pages upon which they are mounted, and the text pages are clean and in generally excellent condition. This volume is accompanied by the rare, original letterpress dust jacket. The dust jacket is soiled, stained, and age-darkened. It is in two pieces, and there are significant losses and tears. The boards are worn at the corners, but otherwise generally clean. The leather on the spine is discolored and faded along the lower edge, and there is splitting along the joints at the lower and upper edges.
