The front matter and mats are generally clean, with little evidence of handling. The reverse of each mat is numbered sequentially in pencil in an unidentified hand.
The clamshell box and slipcase are in generally excellent condition. The colophon indicates that the edition consists of 25 numbered copies; two artist's proofs; and one copy reserved for the Bibliotheque Nationale.
