- Paire de faucons en porcelaine polychrome Chine, dynastie Qing, époque Qianlong (1736-1795)

chaque oiseau posé sur de puissantes pattes jaunes, perché sur un grand rocher émaillé bleu, le corps lourd dans les tons sépia, le plumage brun rehaussé d'or, les grandes ailes à demi déployées dont les plumes se chevauchant sont relevées sur les côtés, la tête dressée vers le haut et légèrement tournée ; restaurations (2)

Collection Wannieck, vente le 2 décembre 1960 à Paris, lot 128.
Condition
The falcon on the right on the catalogue illustration :
His right wing is broken and anciently restored and repainted on a 10 x 4 cm area along the edge.
There is a small hairline crack crossing the right side of his beak.
Some losses to the yellow enamel on his legs and on the blue enamel on the rock.
Small crackles to the rim associated to a small firing fault.
The falcon on the left :
The edge of his left wing has been broken and restored and repainted below the wing. The all beak has been extensively restored. Some losses to the yellow and blue enamels as well.
