Catalogue Note
"For the most part, these types of projects have always been technical experiments that required a medium in order to exist. They remain important to me because I have no brief to work to - unlike my industrial commissions - so I can create my own parameters. Oddly, these works develop a life of their own. Each has its own personality, which seems to be quite distinct from me." Marc Newson, 2014
