Condition

Overall the condition of the enamel is good with some wear and minor dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is an area of restoration running along the edge at the top, another at the bottom edge, and another smaller area at the edge on the right. There is a chip to the bottom right corner. There are a few nicks and scratches, especially at the centre. There is minor pitting, including to the cross. There is some wear to the gilding, which is ghosted in a few areas, including the Virgin's halo. The wood frame is in good condition with wear to the gilding and slightly open but stable joints.
