Condition

Overall the condition of the enamel is very good with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are small areas of restoration to the bottom left and right corners of the plaque. The restorer has misinterpreted the second part of the monogram, finishing the top half of the second letter as an "I" as opposed to an "L". There is some minor wear to the gilding, including an area to the left of the head of the Holy Spirit. There are five small holes for mounting along the edge. There is some tarnishing to the gilt mount. The velvet covered wood backing of the frame is slightly warped and loose. The frame has a stand and a metal loop for hanging.
