Condition
Overall the condition of the wood is good with wear and some dirt to the surface consistent with age. Traces of red, blue and gold polychromy mainly remain in the crevices and on the base. There is a stable split to the right elbow of Peter consistent with the material. Peter's dagger and the left front corner of the base are lost. There is a loose peg in the right side of the base.
The velvet on the base is worn thin throughout, has losses around the corners, and has some moisture stains. The wood of the backboard has some minor splitting consistent with material and around the screws.
