  • Cross with scenes from the Passion
  • cedar wood, mounted in a partially gilt silver filigree cross, set with pearls, garnets and coral

Condition

Overall the condition of the cross is good with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some warping to the metal in several areas, including the knops at the bottom. There is also minor wear to the gilding and some tarnishing throughout. There is a loss to the filigree metal to the stem at the top below the cross. There are a few specks of dirt to the wood. There is a metal screw at the bottom for mounting onto a lost base.
