- a set of four, all oil on panel, in carved and parcel gilt wood frames
Condition
The panels are all flat, stable, uncradled and in excellent condition. The paint surfaces are clean, the varnish clear and even, and the colours are bright and well-preserved. Good quality impasto is present in the whites. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye in any of the pictures. Inspection under ultraviolet light does not reveal any intervention, save for a tiny area of retouching to a small, superficial scratch to the right of the man's arm holding a wine glass. These works are in excellent condition.
These works are offered in carved gilt and stained wood frames, in excellent condition.
