Oil on canvas, lined. There are some minor abrasions at the upper right and left corners with accompanying losses. There are some areas of craquelure and thin paint evident, especially in the lower left corner. The picture has surface dirt and a discolored varnish, but is otherwise in fine condition. Under UV light, there are broad strokes of fluorescence throughout the sky. There are additional scattered dots and dashes of inpainting throughout the figures.
