Condition
The canvas has an uneven (bowed) and extremely rigid relining. The paint surface is dirty and the varnish is discoloured. The paint surface appears to be beautifully preserved, but some minor discoloured repairs are visible to the naked eye beneath the varnish in the centre of the trees and in the sky.
Offered in a plain, modern gilt wood frame.
